Once the Text palette or the Color picker appeared, I could not get them to go away, either by clicking on their close buttons or by selecting menu items. However, I could not get the Page Inspector, Shape Inspector, or Layers to show. In the version sent via email, I could get the Tools to show and could draw. The Tools Palette would not appear, regardless of how many times I selected Show from the menu. While the main window would open, in the version from the App Store, I could do nothing else.
I have tried on an early 2008 8-core Mac Pro with 12 GB of RAM and a 17" 2009 MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM.
None of the versions works for me on 10.6.8, despite the system requirements here on MacUpdate and on the developer's site indicating that it will work on 10.6. I downloaded a demo from the developer's site, the developer sent me a redemption code for the App Store, and the developer directly emailed me a newer version (1.2) that is not available elsewhere yet. I have tried multiple times to use this application. That is the reason I am looking into Bluetail.
