Yes, all I needed was my one lowest-quality JPG and Aurora HDR recovered what was there from it. I wanted to see the blinding disc of the sun in the clouds as well as details in the dark sea below. I used Luminar Aurora HDR (now part of Luminar Neo) with my one JPG file to restore detail to the harsh highlights and deep shadows.
If this was a portfolio shot I'd go back and lighten the dark cloud in the middle, but tough, it's a free website.
